Legal / publication draft
Privacy policy
This draft describes how Techly Africa Limited proposes to handle personal data in Adtelo. It reflects the current product design; contact details, retention periods and processor disclosures need final review.
Registered address and public contact details are pending. Ghana counsel must approve this draft, the retention schedule, processor disclosures and customer-facing consent language. This page is not yet the final operative policy.
Who controls the data
Techly Africa Limited controls account, subscription, site and support data needed to run Adtelo. For prospect lists, customer contacts, brand content and customer transactions entered by an organization, that organization decides whom to contact and why; we process the data to provide the service under its instructions. Campaign-specific requests should go to the business named as sender. We route requests received through support to the relevant organization.
What we collect
We process account names, work emails, password hashes, memberships, sessions and security events; organization and brand profiles; uploaded assets and knowledge documents; source links, drafts, approvals, schedules and provider results; prospect identities, source and consent evidence, suppression and message history; opportunities, bookings, offers and transaction references; plan, billing, support, audit and technical records. We do not request social passwords or store full card numbers.
Why we use it
We use data to authenticate users, enforce organization and brand access, provide requested workflows, generate and review content, deliver authorized messages, verify payments, show outcomes, prevent abuse, respond to requests and meet legal duties. AI features send the context needed for a requested generation to the configured model provider. Model suggestions do not replace human decisions.
Prospects and consent
Organizations must supply a lawful source and record prior written consent before Ghana direct-marketing email. Imported prospects remain ineligible until evidence is verified. Consent, suppression, approval and limits are checked at send time. A recipient can opt out through the email link; a withdrawal, complaint or reply stops pending follow-ups. A minimal suppression record may be retained to prevent renewed contact. Section 40 of Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) addresses prior written consent and the right to stop direct marketing.
Sharing and processors
We share only needed data with hosting, database, storage, monitoring, email-delivery and AI providers; official social platforms when you connect or publish; and Paystack for subscriptions or a tenant’s customer checkout. Tenant customer payments use that tenant’s own merchant account. We may disclose information where required by law or needed to protect the service. The final provider list, locations and transfer safeguards must be published before launch.
International processing
Some providers may process data outside Ghana. Before commercial activation, we must confirm their processing countries, contracts and safeguards and explain them to customers. Avoid submitting sensitive personal data to prompts, documents or prospect imports unless necessary and specifically authorized.
Security
The product uses tenant and brand authorization, encrypted provider credentials, signed webhooks, approval records, audit trails, secure sessions and transport protection. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We investigate suspected incidents and notify affected parties and authorities where required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep data only as long as needed for its purpose, an active account, a legal duty or a legitimate security and audit need. Organization closure starts a delayed purge; financial, audit and suppression records may have different periods. The exact schedule, backup deletion interval and statutory exceptions must be finalized and published before launch. Account holders can request export or deletion in Settings; organization owners can request organization export and closure.
Your choices and rights
Subject to identity verification and applicable law, you can ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data and object to direct marketing. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Account holders can use in-app privacy controls; prospects can use the email opt-out link or contact the sender. You can also raise a concern with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission. Requests may be limited where records must be kept by law or to protect others.
Cookies and site data
Adtelo uses essential session and security cookies for authentication and protection. The public marketing pages do not require advertising cookies. If optional analytics or tracking is added, this notice and any required consent mechanism must be updated before activation.
Children and changes
Adtelo is intended for businesses and authorized workers, not children. Do not submit children’s personal data through prospect or content workflows. We will date and publish material policy changes and notify account holders where appropriate.
Contact
Techly Africa Limited will publish its registered address and a dedicated privacy/support email before this policy goes live. Until then, signed-in account holders can use the Privacy, data & support area in Settings.
